Christian Life was founded in 1941. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God, a Christian fellowship of over 12,000 churches scattered throughout the United States. World wide our Fellowship is located in more than 200 countries with an estimate of 54 million constituents. We are recognized as evangelical Protestants, meaning that we place a high priority on sharing the Jesus story- telling others of His miraculous birth, His loving life, His sacrificial death, and His glorious resurrection.
We believe Jesus is the key to God’s plan for restoring fallen humanity. And because of Jesus’ death on the cross, each of us is able to have a close and personal relationship with God.
A more definite description of our church is that we practice the teachings of Pentecost. What this means is that we identify with the original church described in the New Testament born on the Day of Pentecost. As Pentecostals we are essentially committed to revival of the doctrines (beliefs), practices, and priorities of original Christianity, that which Jesus personally taught His apostles.
